Purpose: To provide education on the history of wooden fishing boats, Monterey maritime history and ecological conservation

Mission: To maintain and make improvements to the General Pershing for the purpose of providing an education platform for the Classroom on the Bay​ curriculum. To make "safety" improvements to the General Pershing that will allow for the safe presentation of performing arts, visual media and classroom curriculum.
