Become a Volunteer

Perfect for the outdoorsy type person looking to experience a once in a lifetime adventure. We are looking for energetic, adventurous and knowledgable people that love what marine life has to offer and willing to volunteer some time in beautiful Monterey California.
Join us on a journey that could positively impact marine life. A list of projects are waiting to be completed on the General Pershing and is available on this site. Your skills can always be put to good use even if they don't quite fit any of the listed projects.
Our greatest volunteer came from the state of Washington for a few weeks and stayed 6 months. The work is as challenging as it is rewarding. Not only are our project leaders effective in giving you the best journey, they're knowledgable about the boat, the marina, and tools necessary for each project. So no matter what you're looking for, we've got you covered. Come explore the nation's most beautiful and scenic areas with us, we're certain you'll want more.
